We start from visiting the famous
Panorama-museum devoted to the first siege
of Sevastopol (1854-1855) during the Crimean War (1853-1856).
You'll see the only one Panorama in Ukraine, which is the battle painting on the
canvas (115 m long, 14 m high), which is not only the canvas but the object
plan. The panorama building is situated on one of the Sevastopol highs where
nowadays military fortifications of the Crimean War period are being exposed
(artillery yards with old Russian cannons).
And
then - back to the sea shore - The Black See Fleet-museum - The first military
museum in Russia, founded in 1869. Also we'll explore the Central hill of
Sevastopol with 2 monuments-St.Vladimir cathedral it has been built as the
burial place of renowned Russian admirals, perished during the Crimean War.

Two thousands years back in time - Chersonese, an ancient Greek city with 2000 years of history behind it - visiting the ruins of ancient Chersonese - now the historical museum of ancient Greek city-colony of the 6th century BC-the 15th century AD with the exhibits of ancient ruins.

cathedrals and churches of Sevastopol dated back to 8-9 centuries of the
last millennium - Saint George Monastery, Saint Clement
Monastery, fortress Calamite, Saint Nikolay's cathedral
and Saint Vladimir's cathedral.
Submarine underground base and fortress of Chombal 4 hours
This
excursion is for those who want to feel the power and see the rest of the object
that ones was the most secret object in Crimea - Underground submarine base.
First a car ride to Balaklava Bay, then a boat to the entrance of the base and a
breathtaking exploring. And on your way back - 1 hour stop at the ruins of
Chombal fortress.
