Transportation Kharkiv is situated in the North-East part of Ukraine quite close to Russian border. The city is one of the major railway and highway crossroads of CIS. Kharkiv is about 480 km. from Kyiv, 750 km from Moscow, 780 km. from Yalta and 670 km from Odesa. Kharkiv airport is not very big and it's situated quite close to the south of the city. Kharkiv has aerial communication with Kyiv (daily), Vienna (four times a week), Istanbul (twice a week) and some other cities (not stable). |

Railway communication from Kharkiv is VERY extensive. By train you will be able to travel to Berlin, Warsaw and almost all cities and towns of Ukraine, Russia and other CIS countries. Bus & Taxi. It is easy to get to any small town of Eastern Ukraine and regions of Russia bordering with Kharkiv region by bus or taxi. |
