View on Foros town and Black sea

mountains and towns & sea, stretched under them; to visit historical places and sights of Crimea, to hear a rumble of the mountains wind and a hum of the sea surf.

You'll leave Yalta early morning and make the first stop near the famous Foros church on the mountain. If you are brave enough you may try to stand close to the breakage and to enjoy the view of the sea and town Foros (click on left photo)

Then you'll pass though the Baydarsky gates of Crimean mountains and drive Khan's Palacethough the famous Crimean nature park to Bakhchysarai - 15th cent. capital of the Crimean Khanate. The city was constructed by local master builders, Ukrainian and Russian captives, as well as by master builders from Iran, Italy, and Turkey. For sure you'll be impressed by an old magnificent Khan's Palace (16th-18th c.) and the Fountain of Tears which inspired Pushkin to write the poem The Fountain of Bakhchisaray. Also you may visit (you have to discuss this extra option with your guide) one of the oldest culture monument of Crimea -  8th c. Uspensky (Dorminition) Cave Church, which is hewn out of a cliff.

Sevastopol Bay - A momument to the people who have died on sunken shipsAnd at the afternoon you'll arrive to Sevastopol - one of the best-known cities in the Crimea. Seaport and an industrial, scientific, and cultural centre of Ukraine. During the 5th-6th c. the city was the bastion of the Byzantine Empire on the northern shore of the Black Sea. During the 9th-10th c. it played an important role in the economic and political relations between Byzantine and Kyiv. In 988 the Kyivan prince Volodymyr Svyatoslavovych captured Sevastopol, where he was converted to Christianity. In May 1783 the first 17 ships of the Black Sea fleet cast anchors in present-day Akhtialsky harbor. Construction of the port and military settlement was begun. 

You'll see monuments to heroes who defended Sevastopol during the Russo-Turkish War of 1854-1855 and during the Soviet-German War of 1941-1944. Observe other historical sightRuins of the city of Chersonese Taurices of Sevastopol. 

And after lunch in Sevastopol restaurant you'll go to ruins of the city of Chersonese Taurice, located in the western part of Sevastopol on the Heraclian Peninsula. An important political and cultural centre, founded by Greeks in 422-421 B.C.

And then - go back to Yalta along the Black sea. Really, unforgettable journey!

Ai-Petri peak, Uchan-Su waterfall                7 hours

After 30 minute ride you'll reach Alupka city and take a cable car to Mt. Ai-Petri, the most beautiful peak in the Crimea, for fabulous views on the seaside. With our guide you'll take a 30 minute walk to the peak of Ai-Petri and observe Yalta, Alupka and Miskhor  cities. For sure you'll be impressed! 

Then you'll take a ride down by an old mount road and come to the famous Uchan-Su (Flying Water) waterfall - the highest in Europe - 98 meters - 2 times higher than Niagara Falls! You can see its steep rock wall and falling water even from Yalta city - 8 km far from it! But it's better to walk to the view platform, admiring a fog of the sparking water and a beautiful rainbow, breath the freshest mount air saturated by needles aroma. (click on the right photo)

After a lunch at the romantic mount restaurant you take a ride back to Yalta.
