Methods of Teaching

UkraineTour invites you to study Russian or Ukrainian in beautiful historic Kharkiv (Kharkov), the largest scientific and cultural center of Ukraine. We offer intensive language training and practice, both to students from foreign universities and also to private groups or individuals, such as public organization of businessmen who wish to master the essentials of the Russian or Ukrainian languages and culture.

Study programs are based on proven techniques of teaching and in each particular case are tailored according to the language level of the student and his/her individual choice.

On our staff we have specialists from many different institutions of higher learning - all with extensive experience in teaching Russian or Ukrainian to foreigners. Upon request we also can invite prominent professors for special courses in various branches of Russian and Ukrainian philology, culture or history.

Length of study may vary from 1 to 10 month and can be adapted to meet the needs of each individual.

In addition, students will have an Interesting program of sightseeing and recreation in Kharkov or Kiev. Optional trips to other cities of Ukraine or Russia can be arranged for an additional fee.

UkraineTour offers accommodation either in student dormitories or with families. The latter arrangement provides an unique opportunity to get to know the way of life and traditions of the local  people and the national cuisine, and to practice the languages.

The full cost of one month's language training, including housing, meals and cultural program in the city is $950. Every next month is $50 less!

Hotel accommodation may be arranged for an additional price.
