Russian and Ukrainian language study courses

For those of you who would like to learn or improve your skills in the Russian and/or Ukrainian languages in the native environment, we'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our special language study courses, offered to you in Kharkov (Kharkiv), Ukraine. Russian and Ukrainian are closely related languages, with many similar words, alphabet, and common grammatical and sentence structures. Our experienced and professional tutors will make your learning experience a fun and enjoyable challenge. UkraineTour offers language courses of one, three, and six months duration, which will enable you to quickly pick up a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of Russian or Russian and Ukrainian languages.

This is an intensive six month program, consisting of four hours of lessons, five days a week. During this course of study, you will learn the Russian (Cyrillic) alphabet, writing, grammar, and sentence construction skills, and the rules of correct speech and the proper pronunciation of words. You will increase your vocabulary to the point of being able to converse and read and write without the constant need of referring to a dictionary. Of course, being immersed, on a daily basis, in the native Ukrainian/Russian language environment during your studies, will be of great assistance to you in quickly gaining an understanding of the language. Every month you will be given a test to assess your progress, and at the end of the program, you will take a final exam. Upon completion of the course, you will get an official certificate of accomplishment. After graduation, you will be able to read, write, and speak in Russian and/or Ukrainian.

This program is structured the same as the study course described above, except that it consists of three months of intensive lessons (four hours a day, five days a week). It will give you a good, basic understanding of the Ukrainian or Russian language and a strong foundation to build upon for further, more advanced studies of the languages, should you desire to pursue them. Again, you will be tested throughout the course and receive a certificate upon completion.

This is a special, intensive one month study program (four hours of lessons a day, five days a week) that emphasizes learning simple, every day speech in Russian or Ukrainian. Completion of this program will enable you to feel comfortable in moving about and communicating with the local people. Of course, at this level of study, you will need to carry and use a dictionary until your vocabulary and fluency increases.

Program 1 - 6 months - $1200
