Pushkin (old name Tsarskoe Selo)

The favorite Summer residence of Empresses Elizabeth I and Catherine the Great, Emperor Nikolas II. This residence has baroque and classical palaces, French and English parks. During the tour tourists visit the Catherine’s Palace designed in baroque style by Rasstrelli, in Summer brief tour of the Catherine’s park is added. The interiors of Catherine’s palace are splendid – gilding, pictures, famous Amber room. The palace was almost totally destroyed during World War II, but has risen like a phoenix from the ashes due to the unparalleled restoration effort undertaken since the war.

Pavlovsk

The best sample of Russian classical style, Summer residence of Emperor Paul I, only son of Catherine the Great. The palace is located southeast of the city of St. Petersburg, a few miles beyond the town of Tsarskoe Selo. The palace and English park are very impressive and harmonic. The visitors have tour in the palace.

Peterhof (Petrodvorets)
