The collection of the Museum of Fine Arts comprises more than seven thousand exhibits, including works of eminent European, Russian and Ukrainian painters.

What was formerly the Briansky Temple is now the House of Organ and Chamber Music, which is situated in the western part of the city and is rightfully viewed as the nicest building in that section of the city.

The city's history, going back more than two centuries, is featured in the exhibits of the Historic Museum. The collection contains hundreds of the most unique things which, together, form the rich history of this Dnieper area, the capital of which has long been Dnepropetrovsk.
