Season 2009
Odessa-Crimea, March
I'm just writing to you to compliment your services and I'm happy to recommend UkraineTour to anyone and would gladly use you again anytime I was travelling to your lovely Country.
I had organized the itinerary with you prior and had your assistance to obtain the visa etc. I have to say that we changed things around a few times before finalizing the end tour program. I was totally impressed with the guides you recommended and the Apartments all were of good quality.
Everything went as planned without any problems, and I would gladly come back again. I loved the people in both the Crimean and Odessa. The History and buildings are fantastic, and I even learnt some basic Russian and had fun trying to communicate.
Thanks once again and all the best,

Kiev-Lviv-Odessa-Crimea, April
I want to thank you for setting up such an amazing trip for us. Thank you for staying so flexible on our schedule, I know it had to be frustrating to not really have a definite date for when we would arrive, but you guys made it work.
The apartments were great, much better then I had anticipated, the one in Lviv was our favourite. Please tell Mr Ruchko, Alex, and Helen that of all our guides those 3 were the best they were so friendly and did everything they could to give us the experience of a liftetime.
Ukraine is beautiful, I was afraid that when we got there that it would not live up to my expectations and that everyone who was telling us what a bad decision we had made was right.  They could not have been more wrong, we were treated so well and everything was so wonderful.
The family research I got done was also amazing.  To visit the little villages where my ancestors came out of and to even have people remember stories about my Great Grandfather.  It was all so much more then I had expected, and I still haven't seen the results of some of the inquiries I had put into play before I left.
I just wanted you to know how much the trip meant to me and it will be something I will never forget.  I will be back!

Kiev-Crimea-Lugansk-Kharkov, May
What can we say? Sevastopol guide Aleksandr and driver Peter are now our friends. We loved Sevastopol and Yalta. Aleksandr helped us to tweak our tour a bit so that we could have a day of much-needed rest and not miss any sights. Peter not only drove us, but entertained us with his beautiful music. Aleksandr went out of his way to make our visit wonderful. No one should tour Ukraine and not see the Crimea. Such wonderful history. I would recommend UkraineTour to anyone.

Kiev-Chernivtsy-IvanoFrankivsk-Lviv, July
I had a wonderful time in Ukraine (Kiev, Chernivtsi, IvanoFrankivsk, and Lviv). It is such a beautiful country, and the people are so warm and friendly. It is so undervalued as a tourist destination. The accommodations, tours, beautiful scenery, and stunning cathedrals easily compete with anything in Western Europe, where one has to fight with crowds of tourists, line ups, and exorbitant prices.
All our tour guides were warm, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. They were prepared to give their very best service in any situation that arose.
They were also very kind and patient. I was really impressed most of all with all the wonderful people we met. This kind of personalized attention is almost unheard of these days.Thank you for arranging such a wonderful visit.
Thank you again for everything. You have a wonderful group of people working with you, which can only contribute to the continued success and growth of UkraineTour in the future.
All my best wishes.

Kiev, September
Our English-speaking guide (Helena) in Kiev was just excellent, you are lucky to have her! Her English was terrific, and her knowledge of Ukrainian history and culture was amazing. We learned a lot and she was very friendly.

Kiev-Zhitomir, September
I have just returned home from my trip to Russia and Ukraine, and wanted to thank you with all my heart for the wonderful trip to Zhitomir!  All the  arrangements you made went smoothly.  Constantine was on time, and he was a terrific driver as well as personable and accommodating. It was my first ride in a Chinese made car!  Diana, the guide in Zhitomir is exceptional, absolutely an amazing person, and we are now friends for life. We got into the Bialik house, but not into the section that Nina lives in.  Rather, she (albeit reluctantly) directed us to the back where a subdivision of the original house is occupied by a Jewish lady, Gershona, who invited us in and we had a very emotional visit with her.  Diana took us to several other places in town, and then we had lunch at a wonderful Ukrainian restaurant and got one of the best meals on my entire trip (it is not true that there are no good restaurants in Zhitomir -- this one was wonderful).  Constantine took us to Babiy Yar upon our return to Kiev.  All in all, this day was beyond all my expectations, definitely the highlight of my trip, and I thank you again for making it possible.
Please feel free to use me, as a reference should you ever need one.  I will sing your praises!
Best regards,

Kiev-Lviv-Odessa-Crimea, September

I have just returned from a 2week trip to Ukraine, which included touring 5 cities, from Sept8 to Sept23, 2009. Thank you for arranging our tour, transfers, hotels, train tickets and car/driver with English speaking guides in each city. The trip was very exciting, filled with history, culture, operas, ballet performances, and interesting foods (including the Crimean Tarter food-cooked on coals and served in a hut). The travel to and in the cities was seamless, very comfortable and enjoyable and made more so because the guides spoke good English, were very knowledgeable, not just with historical facts, but brought a rich experienced background, which they shared very willingly. I would like to commend Alexander, our guide from Yalta to Sevastopol, Chersonese and Bakhchisaray. His naval background added to the richness of our experience, not to mention his enthusiasm in making our tour so enjoyable. I would recommend him to all your clients. All your guides were very willing to change our tour itinerary and visit different sites or museums etc., and we were mindful of keeping to our time limitations
Thank you again for arranging the tour. I will surely be recommending UkraineTour agency to my friends.

We really did enjoy our trip to the Ukraine. Your staff were very helpful and took good care of us though out the day.
If we return to the Ukraine (or Russia) we would contact you without hesitation.
Please pass on our thanks again to Dnepropetrovsk guide Natalia and the driver.
Thanks again

Kiev-Odessa-Crimea-Moscow, October-November
We've just returned from our 2-week travels to Ukraine & Russia, and Brent and I wanted to thank UkraineTour for all the arrangements which contributed so very much to making the trip such an excellent experience.
All the travel arrangements went so smoothly.  It was wonderful to able to rely on punctual pickups and drop offs, and to have all our plane and train travel in Ukraine & Russia organized so that we could focus fully on the experience in each of the places we visited and not worry about travel details.
We were very pleased with the support of your local Managers.  Everyone we spoke to was responsive, and focused on making sure that our needs were looked after. We knew that we were in good hands, and got answers to all the questions we asked and arrangements we needed.
This applied to your guides as well. We especially appreciated the extra effort made two of your guides to make sure that there were no disappointments for us.  This included one being in regular contact with a special museum outside of Kiev to be sure they would be open for us when we arrived; and another guide following up in advance of our arrival to be able to take us to some special spots in Crimea that we'd asked about.
We loved our experience....the country is physically beautiful, and we learned a lot!
thanks again, and kind regards,

Kiev-Kharkov-Crimea, November
Booked my trip through the Internet in the summer when I was perfectly healthy.  When I got to the Ukraine, I had joint problems and was walking with a cane. Ukraine Tour stepped up to the plate for me and promptly started reorganizing my apartment stays so that I would have to climb as few stairs as possible.  They held my hand, so to speak, so that I would be able to get to all the locations we had arranged in advance.  This certainly meant some extra work for my guides but they always were gracious and charming and worked hard to make my visit an enjoyable one.  The Ukraine has a lot to offer and I could see things everywhere that I need to spend more time visiting. Ukraine Tour did a good job on suggestions for sights to see and places to visit.  Anyone who is a WWII buff should definitely plan a trip to this area and using Ukraine Tour will help make your journey enjoyable.  Thanks. Constantine, Dmytro, Alex, and Vlad.  Great job guys!
